Hayley Coates

Hayley started working at Penmellyn September 2023 after graduating with her veterinary degree from Liverpool University. She had previously completed a Masters in Zoology degree from Bangor University. With this degrees she has been part of many international projects including studying Giant Pandas in China, completing a wildlife research mission in British Guyana, and volunteering in the South African bush.  

Whilst at Penmellyn she works a 50:50 split with Small animals and Equine. She has a particular interest in small animal and equine surgery, equine reproduction and internal medicine. Often she will be found with her little beagle named Lola, who loves making new friends whilst out on calls.
